“SHELTER”

shrine-comfortsofhome

Created for the 100 Artists show at MARY LOU ZEEK’S GALLERY, this ALMOST didn’t make it. My original idea was more political in nature and while I still LOVE the idea, not only wasn’t it my style, it was also taking me in a direction I really don’t want to go. (think THIS and maybe you’ll understand!) I had all but decided to beg out of this year’s show then this came to mind. I’m really really pleased with it!

  • I came over from Artful Adventures “W List” – this is an amazing piece and I also went “here” and saw all those cut outs – how did you learn to do that? What is A4 paper? I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything like all those cutouts (did you lose your eyesight while doing it?) Wonderful!
