Last of the shoes…
Day 7 - And the final of the shoe theme. I might like this one the best of all for its pure simplicity and strong colours. I swished cad red very lightly with a dry brush leaving much of the absorbent ground visible. I liked the effect but the downside was the colour of the ground - a sort of putty shade - so I went back in with titanium white which brought up the contrast. Added the image then coloured 4 metal brads with a sharpie for glossy black effect and "attached" the image at the four coreners. Then used the edge of one of my black stamp pads - something I do quite often and enjoy the grungy though linear effect. Tomorrow a new theme - it may be houses but I’ll wait to see what my muse thinks! A demain!
