Been meaning to write about deMeng’s Secrets of Rusty Things but I haven’t gotten around to it. I’m very curious to know how he is as a teacher.

HI, Jen! I am phinny and I found you via Hannah Grey’s group and shop where you are a design team member. Way to go!

I live in Seattle and I have family in Port Townsend, WA where Artfest is held each year. I found it too late to join this year (you have to register and sign up for classes WAY in advance b/c it’s so awesome and so popular.) BUT, I am planning on going in 2009 so I hope you post a review of your time there and some pics. I hope you have an amazing time and I look forward to hearing about it when you get back.

Remember, it’s cool out here so dress in layers. It’s mild and sunny during the day and damp and cool at night so its easy to get chilled. But it’s one of the most gorgeous places on the planet. I know you will love PT if you haven’t been here before. It’s a neat, little artsy town!

Have fun at Artfest, I myself am going to Art & Soul in Hampton this year. It will be my second time. I hope to get to Artfest one time. 2 weeks is a good hiatus,as I’m in the process of buying a house and moving right now I’ll be ready by that time!
