Paper casting

Waiting for things to dry. Oh I’d forgotten how much I like playing with paper pulp and while winter time PROBABLY isn’t the best time to do this – drying times take longer, sloshing water – I just love adding stuff to the slurry. A hunk of red lint went into this batch, hence the pink hue, and some extraneous paper bits. Can’t wait to see what the castings turn out like. How ’bout you? Have you taken the challenge??

  4. I just started mine today, Jen. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out. I have long admired this art form and even collect little handmade paper bowls, but this is the first time I've tried it myself. Thanks for the challenge!
