Love reading these quirks, what a cool game this one is. And you make me smile with the sweater thing, maybe it’s like hibernating in a cave in winter…the same sweater till it feels like part of your body. I so get it.

A quirk I have is that when I’m at someone’s home for a get-together or a dinner, I can’t stand to have background music. I don’t know why. Music in a restaurant is fine, if it’s not too loud, and music in a club is mandatory, but for some reason, at someone’s house, I can’t stand it. Maybe it is just too distracting to me when I’m trying to talk with people!

My whole family has the same hangup about the sound of people eating, and I passed it on to my daughter as well! My spouse can’t understand it and can’t eat without making noise. I have to have the radio on to drown out the noise at the supper table. I’m glad to know we aren’t alone!

boo hoo-I feel left out–you forgot about me
quirks…..being forgotten…..I’m just teasing ! how about having ice in my milk when I have warm chocolate chip cookies….I’m a dessert fork kinda girl too..big forks are just so big–and I only chew a half a piece of gum at a time, so I have all these left over pieces floating around in the bottom of my purse!

I got a kick out of reading your list of quirks. Yes, I’m sure you DO have super powers!

My quirkiest quirk is hating to have one hand wet and the other one dry. Drives me crazy. Maybe it’s a balance thing?

Hmmm, my quirks keep changing…….do quirks do that? Let’s seeee…..Oh…..I read books without my glasses, even though I supposedly need glasses for reading, I just have to take them off to read a book.

Hi Jen,
Your site never fails to make my smile and today you made me laugh when I read your quirks. I share quirks 3 and 5 with you but I also use dessert spoons for soup.

I’m such a nutball, it’s hard to pick one: I baby talk other people’s dogs, even when I spot them in cars up to 20 feet away. I believe they can ‘hear’ me.

Unspectacular quirks huh, well, I almost the definition of quirky. I sleep in hooded sweatshirts. Okay, you only asked for one so I am picking the one most people comment on as amazing, wierd, or unbelievably uncomfortable. I will go check out that link. I love your new work as I love all your work. Again, thank you for the package you sent me. It makes me smile and I often think about the kindness.
