Awards, Tags, Decos and RAKs

My oh! My! It’s been a busy week here down at the farm!

  1. Shout out to Bridget for Hearting My Blog. AND for calling me creepy (okay my work) … DOUBLE goodness!
  2. Sheri tagged me to share 8 things about myself:
    • I would eat cheese, crusty bread and olives for the rest of my life if I could
    • I never thought I’d love running but (shhh!) I actually DO
    • At night when passing lit houses I imagine how I would live there
    • I can tell you specific details about my life that happened 30 years ago but don’t know where I am on “known” roads
    • I’m always rather amazed when I finish working on any art piece, that *I* actually created it
    • I periodically think getting chickens and cows AGAIN would be nice
    • I kid myself that I could happily live in a trailer park working in a bar in the middle nowhere
    • It is truly a struggle to come up with 8 things about myself!
  3. The first deco crossed my doorstep yesterday from Karen. Here’s a sample:

  4. I was RAK’d by Gerri … I have THE best friends! Thank you SO much girlfriend. Can I just say YUM?!?RAK - Dr's kit and test tubes

On another note entirely,  I mentioned awhile back about my quest for becoming an Ironman in August. Well, my son, who runs LiveMultiSport.com has asked me to post about my trials’n’ tribulations on my road to Ironmandom. I know there were a few of you that were interested in following along so just wanted to let you know to bookmark that site as every Monday for the next 9 months I’ll be writing about my journey. I’m sure the occasional post will slip in here too but if you’re truly interested in the dirt and grit and not so lovely stuff, that’s where you’re going to find it.

Okay. Back to work then! New FemBot ornies will be posted soon!

  • Hey, I’m bookmarking your son’s site. That’s an amazing journey, I tell you!

Nice list. I have fantasies of being out in the middle of nowhere, too. It would last me about 4 hours.

    LOVE cheese, bread, olives.
    we must have a party.

    Deco on!

  • Jen, Encountering some tech trouble leaving a comment…let me try again. I was happy to read your shared Pack O’ Fun memory; used meat trays way out-queasy used teabags. And here’s to your Ironman/maiden intentions…sometimes I have a challenge simply walking. Also, I’ve added “ornies” to my everyday vocabulary.

  • HI Jen

Take care of that back I suffer with mine so i know how bad they can be
    Jen

  • I’m impressed. Ironwoman, huh. I give you a lot of credit, Jen.

Hope I get to enjoy more twisted Christmas soon. :-(

    Happy turkey day.
