Challenge #5 – The Goods

So here’s what my Gesso’n'Sharpies project turned out like.

I’d actually had these images stored for this purpose and love how they interplay off one another on front and back of the wee book.

Whenever I make a book I always realize how much I love it.
AND how rudimentary my skills are.

Be kind book artists.

Cody I hope you enjoy the little 4.5 x 4.5″ booklet. :)

  1. I really like what you've done with this Jen. It's a very graphic and dramatic way of using your images.

  2. This is FANTASTIC! I LOVE IT!

  3. I love it! You've inspired me to try this!

  4. I am excited to receive this. I love artists books and dabble in book making myself. Love the graphic nature of this process. I'm thrilled.

  5. Your books look really great here! I love the neat way the lines really pop with this technique. Awesome work!

Just thought i'd pop in and say that i FINALLY finished what i would have submitted for your citrus challenge weeks ago. I would have done it then, but i had too many swaps i needed to create for, in which i had already commited. However, the ideas were bouncing around so much in my brain that i couldn't NOT do it, after i finished all those swaps. So, here is my very late creation for your citrus themed swap hahaha.
