We’re on!

The Twisted Christmas Deco Swap has started … there are 14 of us participating so it should be a plethora of twisted imagery in the next few weeks.  I created a brochure/pamphlet of pages from stock image companies with a few vintage advertisements thrown in for good measure. I love the idea of not using an envelope and seeing how the piece evolves over time. Here’s a quick shot before I addressed and sealed it up:

I apologize for the poor photo quality … I feel like my right arm has been taken away with no Photoshop. The good news on the computer front is that I have put in an order for a shiny new Dell to be delivered to my door. The bad news is that I now must start pimping my work to pay for it. Anyone want some Christmas treasures??

Seriously, I will be making a bunch of Ghost Ornies similar in scope to this one from two years ago:

Or how about  this Three Elves decoration?

  7. Okay, Jen, I had to check out your blog based upon Bridget's reference to your slightly "creepy" work. Since I love anything creepy, and when related to art, it is even better – great blog and I love your mixed media.
