My good friend and artist, Sue Pieper was kind enough to invite me to participate as a guest interviewee over at MMCA Marketplace. It’s always weird to read these once they’re up as so much time has passed but this one actually sounds okay I think. I dunno. What do YOU think??
On another note, BIG thanks to Sally for emailing me photos from the collaboration book. Here’s my part in its entirety. The scan was low-res so I’m sure it looks much better in print!

This piece looks so amazing… Roxanne
Thanks Roxanne! It was a pleasure to create!
Great interview, Jen! I especially love what you said about not feeling threatened to share our work. I think I’ve loved every single piece of art you’ve ever posted to your blog and thoroughly appreciate your generosity.
Aw shucks! Thanks for your kind words Deryn! xoxo
Jen, thank you for doing the interview. It was wonderful! I loved it when you said to take what you learn and work in solitude and make it your own! To me your interview was so down to earth and from the heart. Thanks for sharing with our readers!
Thank you Debbie! I’m always relieved when I see these interviews turn out okay. Down to earth is where I wanna be!
Thanks for participating & doing the interview, and I think you did just fine! I always have to laugh when I read the question “who would you be for a day” thing-the first name that comes in my head is always Bette Midler! Oh, to be the Divine Miss M for a day, so I most likely wouldn’t have chosen an artist’s name either:)
Thanks to YOU Ms. Pieper! And I hope you’re feeling right as rain these days. xoxo
I always find it interesting to learn more about an artist and their thoughts. So thanks for sharing them in this interview. And an Ironman…well you already know how impressed I am with that!
Thanks Seth. I’m never sure how I’ll sound when these interviews are published. Hopefully NOT like a stuck up snob! lol
Well I DO know what you mean by interval training, but I’d say short distance as it is morning till lunchtime… and my goodness, your studio is lovely.. I have learned how I work now too, and that will save me heaps when the time comes.
Yepper! Pretty lucky on the studio front! It’s wonderful to be able to make a mess and not worry about floors, walls etc. Lots of room for a playdate … when you comin’ to visit??
