This fall I’ve had a burning desire to create “crafts” … I don’t mean tole painted door knockers (not that there’s anything wrong with that!) but multiple little things that don’t require as much … what? … time? thought? commitment? Something like that!
Anyway. I resurrected the shop I started last Christmas (for my daughter who never quite got her act together 
) and you can find the link over on the right hand side. Yep. Just under the “Travelogue …” bit.
Here’s a preview of a couple of the pieces I put up, some copper ornament/pendant thingees – twosies I guess they’re called, who knew? And a couple of necklaces I made a long time ago but never did anything with.

Nice! And out of the blue these gave me a really strange sensation….a quickening of the pulse, flashes in my head and a sudden desire to…make some art. Huh. Been a long time.
I think there’s something about this time of year that fires up the cozy quotient. Some of us dream of reading by the fire. Others dream of the fire of creating. Whichever. However. I say Go for it!
