Assemblage Challenge - Sede Bicicletta Mammalia
TJ’s assemblage finished. Silly me forgot to get a photo. doh! So I asked if he’d take one. He almost got it all, just the M-dot missing at the bottom of the “368″. FYI the number was his Ironman number and the m-dot is the Ironman logo.
If you recall he included his bibs in the pile o’stuff and I wanted to include it in the finished piece but I didn’t like how flimsy the numbers were. And I felt they were important enough not to cover them up (as I ended up doing with the bathing cap Swim/Bike/Run icons – go look at a previous wip pic).
SO. I traced the numbers/mdot onto metal and cut them out and wired them together. I like how the shiny metal relates to the “horn” and the stenciled gears.
First one in the bag!

Thanks Seth. I think TJ liked it. It might be a bit too close in similarity to Jar Jar Binks? But maybe that's just me.
